FUTURE OF DAIRY CHALLENGE

Calling Agro- and Foodtech start-ups looking to create the future of dairy and dairy farming!

This is your chance to pitch your idea directly to Arla Foods, a leading international dairy co-operative. At European Food Venture Forum Arla Foods will select a start-up for the FUTURE OF DAIRY award and a chance to scale the start-ups innovation to reach millions of consumers or thousands of farmers through a joint project.

Arla Foods is on a journey towards exploring the future of dairy and creating a more sustainable and healthy future. We believe collaborating with start-ups can fuel innovation and help us make an even bigger impact when combining our existing innovation, knowledge and insight with new ingredients, process innovation, technologies and business models. For the right start-up we are open to collaborating within all areas of Agro- and Foodtech, but we are particularly looking for innovations which can contribute to our sustainability goals on farm, through products and packaging or through distribution.

At European Food Venture Forum 2019 we will present the “FUTURE OF DAIRY” Award 2019. One wining start-up will be invited to Arla Food’s headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark to work with our domain expert teams on defining a scope for a pilot project with the end-goal of scaling a joint project to reach millions of consumers worldwide … or integrate with our more than 10,300 owners – the dairy farmers. Arla Foods has teamed up with a leading European Accelerator - Accelrace.io - to help us connect and engage with the start-up ecosystem and define pilot projects in the intersection of start-up innovations and scalability of Arla Foods.

How it works:

1. Register to qualify for the Future of Dairy Award Click on register and create an account here on the challenge portal.

2. Spoonable and Drinkable Yogurts Innovate to build a strong ‘natural goodness’ position for yogurts.

3. Register for European Food Venture Forum 2019 We will send you a link to sign-up for EFVF19. The information you have filled in this site, will be used in the ongoing assessment and pre-registration for the Future of Dairy Award.

The qualifying start-up will be invited to join the full program of EFVF19. During the event, your start-up will be scored for the EFVF19 competition and individually the Future of Dairy Award 2019.

Arla Foods Future of Dairy Award 2019
The evaluation panel from Arla Foods and Accelerace selects the best start-up and invites them to the Arla Foods headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark. Together with the domain experts relevant to the start-up’s innovation, we will define a scope for a pilot project.

Pilot Project
Work closely with us on achieving product-market-fit for your technology or product and access our domain experts, dairy farmer owners, world class laboratory facilities and extensive consumer insights with the end-goal of scaling a joint project.

All ideas will be screened by an evaluation panel consisting of Europe’s leading accelerator, Accelerace and Arla Foods on a regular basis.

The evaluation panel selects the best ideas that move forward.

Pilot - starting 01.07

Receive feedback on your idea and engage with Arla Foods domain expert teams on a pilot project that could go all the way to implementation in our products, packaging, distributionor on our farms.
